On Tuesday, August 18th, Tappytoon announced its return to Anime NYC 2026, taking place from August 20th to the 23rd within the Javiit’s Center in New York City. The company will host a dedicated Tappytoons booth, Club JEM, located on the showroom floor and an official industry panel on Sunday.
To celebrate Tappytoon’s 10 year anniversary, the company will be located At Booth #1131, Club JEM, where they will showcase exclusive merchandise from five of their popular webtoons including He Might Bite!, DEAR. DOOR, Don’t Mind Me, Daddy, and Kill Me Now. Merchandise will include character goods, diorama stands, art cards, photocards, stickers, keychains, and more.
The booth will also feature previously released Club JEM merchandise from hit titles including King’s Maker: Triple Crown, Wet Sand, and The Broken Ring: This Marriage Will Fail Anyway. Fans can also personalize an official Tappytoon collectibe through a custom keycap clicker experience featuring Jem, the company’s feline mascot.
Tappytoon will also be hosting the “BL & Romantasy: Genre Fandoms Rise with Tappytoon” panel alongside publishers and industry voices from Penguin Random House imprint Inklore, Seven Seas Entertainment, and Yen Press imprint Ize Press. The panel will explore how Boy’s Love (BL) and the Romantasy have grown from niche genres into major worldwide fandom as well as how fans shape the publishing landscape, stories, and tropes that are poised to become readers’ next binge-worthy favorites.

“For the past decade, Tappytoon has grown alongside North American BL and romantasy fandoms by consistently bringing readers stories they care deeply about,” said Ernest Woo, Chief Strategy Officer of Contents First. “Anime NYC gives us an opportunity to extend that relationship beyond reading into conversation and participation. We will continue creating more ways for fans to experience the webtoon stories and characters they love as part of their everyday lives.”
Launched in 2016, Tappytoon is a global platform for premium Korean webtoons and webnovels, offering expertly localized content in English, French, and German. With more than 14 million readers worldwide, Tappytoon has become a gateway to the original and bestselling stories that inspired numerous adaptations into film, television, anime, and official merchandise.
