KPop Demon Hunters is one of the biggest animated movies out right now, making waves on both Netflix and the music charts. Since its Netflix debut on June 20, KPop Demon Hunters has climbed the charts with its songs and streaming numbers reaching new peaks daily. Most recently, the soundtrack debuted at #8 on this week’s Billboard 200, earning 31,000 equivalent album units. It marks both the highest-debuting soundtrack of the year and the first to enter the Top 10—it also launched at #1 on the Billboard Soundtracks chart.

KPop Demon Hunters brings together a powerhouse music team. TWICE’s Jeongyeon, Jihyo, and Chaeyoung perform “Takedown,” while the Huntrix’s singing voices come from EJAE (Rumi), Audrey Nuna (Mira), and Rei Ami (Zoey). On the flip side, the Saja Boys are voiced by Andrew Choi (Jinu), samUIL Lee (Romance Saja), Kevin Woo (Mystery Saja), Neckwav (Abs Saja), and Danny Chung (Baby Saja).
Music producers include Teddy Park, Ido, Lindgren, Ian Eisendrath, Andrews, Dominsuk, and 24. The score comes from Marcelo Zarvos.

Created by Maggie Kang, and co-directed by Kang and Chris Appelhans, KPop Demon Hunters follows a trio of demon hunters who use their voices to protect the world from evil. But the Huntrix have more than demons to worry about—they must also face off against a supernatural boy group: the Saja Boys, all while working to create the Golden Honmoon, a melody that could permanently seal away demonic forces.
Featuring voice performances from Arden Cho, May Hong, Jiyoung Yoo, and Ahn Hyoseop, KPop Demon Hunters has earned praise for its animation, voice acting, story, and especially its music.
