Andrew Choi, the singing voice behind Jinu in KPop Demon Hunters, surprised fans at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (Sea-Tac) with a live performance celebrating Alaska Airlines’ new non-stop flight from Seattle to Seoul.
In a montage shared by KIRO 7 News, Choi can be seen performing “Soda Pop” by the film’s fictional boy group, the Saja Boys, as fans in the Alaska Lounge clapped, cheered, and joined the sing-along. Viewers also spotted Rubina, known for her appearances on Big Brother and The Amazing Race, dancing and singing along in the crowd.
KPop Demon Hunters continues to enjoy a major moment in the spotlight. The film has earned glowing reviews, broken Netflix records as the streamer’s most-watched film of all time, and spawned a chart-topping soundtrack. With official Saja Boys and HUNTR/X lightsticks, costume lines, and toy collaborations in the mix, the franchise shows no signs of slowing down.
Choi’s surprise performance perfectly captures the global energy surrounding KPop Demon Hunters—a story that began on screen but has now become a full-fledged cultural phenomenon.
