At New York Comic Con 2026 (happening this weekend, from October 8th through October 10th), WEBTOON and Marvel Comics will be giving fans their first look at the all-new, all-different Marvel Comics App. On the NYCC ’26 show floor at Booth #2435, attendees will get the chance to preview the new app, which will officially launch next month, on November 16th, 2026.
The all-new, all-different Marvel app

According to the press release, the new Marvel app will “give fans access to a deep and growing library of current and classic comics from Marvel, Star Wars, and 20th Century Studios, and will continue growing with more features and stories from across Disney’s portfolio.” The PR continues that the app was “[d]eveloped from the ground up by WEBTOON Entertainment for mobile and web,” and promises the app will “make comic discovery faster, reading more flexible, and ongoing series easier to follow.”
The new Marvel app will include both “archived comics” as well as “current comic book runs,” with new issues available as early as just one month after release at your Local Comic Shop. Plus, it will support both traditional page-turning as well as scrolling webcomic formats.
Plenty of bells and whistles are promised with the new Marvel app, including the ability to browse the catalogue of comics, enjoy personalized recommendations and even create pull lists based on your favorite creators, characters or series. Plus an enhanced “smart mode” will allow for the reader to easily zoom in on specific panels while reading.
In a quote included in the press release, President of WEBTOON Entertainment Yongsoo Kim stated, “The Marvel Comics app represents a new chapter in helping fans connect with the stories they love. By combining WEBTOON’s expertise in building digital comics platforms with Marvel’s unparalleled storytelling legacy, we’re making it easier for longtime fans and new readers alike to explore Marvel’s universe and discover their next favorite story.”
