In a surprise announcement, ABJ Company posted on X (formerly Twitter) that both Hyperventilation and Mignon will no longer be available on Vimeo. Due to a policy change on the video platform, the two series will be discontinued and inaccessible to purchasers after September 21st, 2026 as Vimeo on Demand will be unavailable. Both animation titles cannot be purchased after July 23rd, 2026, a couple of months prior to the service termination.
The BL ONA titles have previously ran into trouble with Vimeo, which led to the take down of Mignon from the platform twelve days after its initial launch on August 11th, 2023. Eventually, the series was put back in 2025 with three episodes available to view for free. Now, only a year after, the Bboong Bbang Kkyu animation titles will be completely taken off Vimeo for good.
ABJ Company released the following statement, and shares that both Mignon and Hyperventilation will be available for purchase on Laftel, WATCHA, and Heavenly.
We would like to inform you that Vimeo On Demand, the service through which Hyperventilation and MIGNON are currently available, will be discontinued due to a policy change by Vimeo.
While the Vimeo platform itself will continue to operate, the discontinuation of Vimeo On Demand means that the purchase and viewing of these titles through the platform will also come to an end.
Please note that this service termination is the result of Vimeo’s policy change and is not a decision made by ABJ COMPANY. We kindly ask for your understanding.
