May 13, 2026, WEBTOON and Warner Bros. Animation just announced 4 more WEBTOON Original series that will be receiving animated adaptations. This comes as the two companies announced their partnership back in November of 2025 with the goal to Co-Produce animated adaptations of 10 WEBTOON Original series.
Last year the four series that were announced to be adapted are as follows:
- The Stellar Swordsmaster by Hong Dae Ui, Juno and Q10.
- Hardcore Levelling Warrior by Sehoon Kim
- Down to Earth by Pookie Senpai
- Elf and Warrior by AC Stuart and Victor Rosas II
Today’s announcement includes four more additional series from WEBTOON. These series are:
High school student Anna wakes up one day to find that she’s super hairy, incredibly strong, craves meat all the time… and then she grows ears and a tail. Can she figure out how to stop herself from becoming a werewolf before the full moon?
Natalia, a vampire desperate for a normal life, finally gets to go to school and sets her sights on befriending her seatmate, Evangelo. As she tries to navigate friendship in the human world, she discovers he’s not your typical student either.
Terron is cursed to die at 19 unless she can find a way to break the spell. Her chance may come when her family escapes society and stays at a magical estate, where she uncovers secrets among its wealthy guests that could hold the key to lifting her deadly curse.
Prince Snow, the fairest in the land, is married off to the towering Princess Briar by his scheming stepmother, who desperately wants him gone. Is Princess Briar just infatuated with him like everyone else, or does she have secrets of her own?
As of writing there is no release date yet for these projects. It is also unknown whether these will be animated series or films. So only time will tell how these adaptations for these series will be done.
What is also interesting is these adaptations include WEBTOON series from international creators, not just series from South Korea and Japan. These projects will also receive support from WEBTOON Entertainment’s U.S.-based WEBTOON Productions and Japanese IP business teams. In addition, the creators of these WEBTOON Originals series will still retain their intellectual property rights and even receive a share of the revenue from these animated projects.
