Ahead of New York Comic Con 2026 (on October 8 through October 11), GlobalComics has announced an expansion of its manga and manwha catalogue with new titles from Kadokawa and Redice Studio. The expansion includes fan favorite titles, up-and-coming titles and new titles, so there’s certain something for everyone in the mix!
GlobalComics adds manga titles from Kadokawa and Redice Studio
According to the press release, the titles from Kadokawa have landed at GlobalComics thanks to a distribution agreement with Dwango. The PR notes that the “agreement with Dwango may also provide a pathway for additional publishers and IP owners to bring their content to GlobalComix in the future.” However, this announcement focuses only on the titles from Kadokawa.
The genre-spanning Kadokawa titles are:
-
-
To Sir, Without Love: I’m Divorcing You, “an ongoing romance-fantasy series with 20 chapters”
-
-
The Insipid Prince’s Furtive Grab for The Throne, “an ongoing, anime-adapted fantasy-adventure series with 58 chapters”
-
- Love Tattoo, “a completed seven-chapter BL series recognized with a BL award in Japan
Meanwhile, the three titles from Redice Studio are thanks to Riverse. The three titles from Redice Studio are each from the popular action-fantasy genre:
-
-
Tomb Raider King
-
-
Overgeared
-
-
The Return of the Disaster-Class Hero
-
In a quote included in the PR, CEO of GlobalComix Henrik Rydberg said,
“Working with Dwango and Riverse gives our community access to an exciting range of stories and creative perspectives. From celebrated reader favorites to emerging series building passionate audiences, these titles reflect the variety and creative energy that make manga and manhwa impossible to put down.”
