Mattel’s KPOP DEMON HUNTERS dolls aren’t cheap

The first HUNTR/X dolls from Mattel are for collectors

-

On Friday, Mattel revealed its first KPop Demon Hunters doll set featuring HUNTR/X trio Rumi, Zoe, and Mira. Pre-orders start November 12, but the price tag isn’t insignificant. The set retails at $150 before tax.

Part of Mattel’s Creations Exclusive line, meaning it will likely be available only for a limited time and is largely intended for collectors, the KPop Demon Hunters HUNTR/X Rumi, Mira, Zoey “What It Sounds Like” 3-Pack collects all three dolls in their iconic white ensembles from the final performance of the film. All three characters have movie-accurate weapons and Rumi’s patterns are visible. The set comes with a collector box and dust cover, as well as a Certificate of Authenticity. There is a limit of three per customer.

Here are the specs, per Mattel:

HUNTR/X brings their iconic style to Mattel in this 3-doll set. Looking sen-slay-tional in outfits from their final performance in KPop Demon Hunters, these HUNTR/X heroines are ready to give their fans the concert of a lifetime. Lead singer Rumi’s look shows off the patterns that mark her skin, with Mira and Zoey beside her in complementary styles.

  • HUNTR/X Rumi, Mira, Zoey “What It Sounds Like” 3-Pack
  • Doll heights: Mira 11.75”, Rumi 11.5”, Zoey 11.0”
  • Each doll features 11 points of articulation
  • Deluxe soft goods clothing and rooted hair inspired by their movie looks
  • Includes Rumi’s saingeom, Zoey’s sinkal, and Mira’s woldo weapons
  • Beautifully designed collector box with dust cover for shelf display
  • Comes with Certificate of Authenticity
  • For collectors ages 14+

Colors and decorations may vary. Purchase limits subject to change at the sole discretion of Mattel. Please note: The dolls, fashions, and accessories depicted in these images are design prototypes. Final production design, colors, and textures may vary.

It may seem odd that collectors are the target of Mattel’s first KPop Demon Hunters release, but given how quickly items from popular IPs are bought up and resold at incredible markups online, it actually makes a lot of sense. Collectors will want to get their hands on as much KPDH merchandise as possible, as soon as possible, and releasing dolls specifically for that market first may cut down on resales of future dolls meant for kids.

Mattel and Hasbro have agreed to share the master license to produce KPDH toys, which will reportedly start to roll out next year, so dolls designed for play are sure to come. These will likely be sold as individual dolls with a much lower price tag, though Mattel may still impose limits (at least through its online store) for customers trying to buy in bulk.

Mattel’s KPop Demon Hunters Fashion Dolls 3 Pack pre-orders begin on Friday, November 12 at 12 p.m. ET/9 a.m. PT. The dolls will ship by October 2026. For updates on this sale and future KPDH products from Mattel, sign up for email communications on the shop page.
