The KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack has once again proven its staying power, reclaiming the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 albums chart for the week dated October 11, 2025. According to Luminate, the album earned 102,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. for the week ending October 2—marking its second week at No. 1 and its tenth consecutive week in the top two.
The soundtrack, which accompanies Netflix’s smash-hit animated film KPop Demon Hunters, features original music performed by HUNTR/X, the in-universe K-Pop group whose tracks have become global sensations in their own right. The record’s return to the top reflects the continued momentum behind both the film and its breakout musical acts.
Of the 102,000 units earned this week, streaming equivalent albums (SEA) accounted for the bulk of the total, with 84,000 units (equivalent to 117.48 million on-demand official streams). Album sales accounted for 16,000 units—a 56% increase from the previous week—while track equivalent albums (TEA) contributed 2,000 units. The soundtrack also holds its position at No. 2 on Billboard’s Top Streaming Albums chart and climbs to No. 4 on Top Album Sales.
The film’s success on Netflix has fueled demand for more KPop Demon Hunters content, with fans eagerly speculating about a sequel or spin-off. Both the music and film have resonated deeply across international audiences, bridging animation, pop, and K-Culture in a way few projects have before.
As KPop Demon Hunters continues to dominate the charts, its soundtrack stands as proof of how powerful storytelling, global collaboration, and irresistible music can come together to create a phenomenon that transcends genres—and languages.
