Fortnite has officially unveiled full details of its highly anticipated crossover with Netflix’s animated hit KPop Demon Hunters. As previously reported by IGN, the event launched in full this week and brings the film’s stylish demon-fighting trio—Rumi, Mira, and Zoey—into the game as new playable skins.
Alongside these character additions, Fortnite introduces a new limited-time mode, Horde Rush: Demon Rush, which launched on October 2 and runs through November 1. Players will team up with HUNTR/X, KPop Demon Hunters’ in-universe pop group featured in the film’s soundtrack, to battle waves of enemies in this refreshed version of the fan-favorite Horde Rush mode.
Traditionally part of the annual Fortnitemares event, Horde Rush receives a demonic makeover this year to fit both KPop Demon Hunters’ supernatural aesthetic and the wider theme of Fortnite Chapter 6. Players can now equip Demon Hunters-inspired abilities between survival rounds and even recruit one of the trio as a computer-controlled ally.
The crossover also extends to Battle Royale, Zero Build, and Blitz Royale modes, where players can wield themed weapons and items such as Rumi’s Empowered Sword, Zoey’s Golden Bubble Shield, Mira’s X-tra Spicy Ramyeon, and the Derpy Teleporter Mask.
With its colorful blend of pop music, action, and supernatural flair, KPop Demon Hunters feels like a perfect fit for Fortnite’s ever-evolving multiverse. The event runs through November 1.
