Seven Seas is expanding its library with its very first unlimited flow danmei.
Seven Seas Entertainment is expanding its lineup with its first unlimited flow danmei title. During its Wonderful Wednesday license announcements, the publisher revealed it had acquired The Lucky Egg Game: Cai Dan You Xi by Bo Mu Bing Lun. This marks Seven Seas’ first foray into the genre. The series will span three volumes, with Volume 1 slated for release on July 28, 2026.

Unlimited flow (Chinese: 无限流) refers to a genre where characters are thrown into a space disconnected from reality. In this isolated realm, they must complete tasks—ranging from solving puzzles and uncovering mysteries to surviving deadly challenges. These stories often blend elements of fantasy, sci-fi, horror, or a combination of all three.
Seven Seas has previously focused on xianxia and wuxia genres. While the two overlap, wuxia centers on martial heroes grounded in human capability, whereas xianxia (immortal heroes) incorporates more fantastical elements, like deities, spiritual cultivation, and supernatural powers. More recently, Seven Seas has also added modern danmei titles to its lineup, such as the psychological thriller Silent Reading, slice-of-life romance Sa Ye, and post-apocalyptic sci-fi Little Mushroom.
Here’s how Seven Seas describes The Lucky Egg Game:
Lin Jue’s life at university has suddenly turned into a nightmare. One night, his campus is sealed off and all students are turned into zombies—except for 13 people, including Lin Jue himself, who received a mysterious easter egg. Some sort of twisted “game” has begun. Now Lin Jue and the other twelve must survive the night in this hellhole and figure out exactly what this horror game entails. Lin Jue may be able to forge bonds with the others, including a relationship that turns more intimate, but who will end up a greater threat to him: the zombies after his flesh, or the comrades who might betray him?
Volume 1 of The Lucky Egg Game hits shelves on July 28, 2026.
