Manta Comics announced on Instagram that Flannce Stories has joined its growing creator lineup with the debut comic Love in Ruins.
Flannce, a first-time indie comic creator, partnered with Manta to publish Love in Ruins on both Manta and their Patreon. As the original creator and writer, Flannce crafted the story’s narrative, while Pepe Studio brings it to life with vivid artwork.
Set in Polynesia, the story is a modern Boys’ Love (BL) romance that follows businessman Caleb Makoa and archaeologist Dr. Isaac Gideon. When Caleb hires Isaac to investigate the mysteries of an ancient temple, the pair find themselves caught in a dangerous adventure that forces them to rely on each other to survive, both physically and emotionally.
Manta previously teased Love in Ruins in its lineup of May releases. The platform is known for hosting hit series like Under the Oak Tree—a New York Times Bestseller in novel form—alongside popular titles Sora & Haena and Betrayal of Dignity.
