Under the Oak Tree is officially a New York Times’ Best Seller! The physical version of the original webnovel, written by Suji Kim, has landed at #7 on the NYT Best Seller List for Hardcover Fiction. This is the first webnovel originally written in Korean to have made the list.

Additionally, Under the Oak Tree has achieved another feat, as the book has also made it to USA Today’s Bestselling Book List at #42.

Manta Comics launched the romantasy webnovel Under the Oak Tree in digital format in February 2024, following its webcomic debut in January 2021. Under the Oak Tree has rapidly become one of the platform’s top series. The creators released the webcomic’s print edition on September 3, captivating fans with P‘s stunning art.

Under the Oak Tree centers around the relationship between Maximilian Croyso and Riftan Calypse. The pair’s relationship has a rocky start when Maxi is forced to marry Riftan and he leaves the day after they consummate their marriage. For three years, Maxi has wondered what she means to Riftan, battling overwhelming anxiety over the possibility that he may want to divorce her. But when Riftan returns, he seems like he still wants to be with Maxi, much to her shock. Now Maxi has to figure out how to navigate her new life as the Lady of Anatol and realize that she is much stronger than she thought.
