BOYNEXTDOOR (Sungho, Riwoo, Jaehyun, Taesan, Leehan, and Woonhak) have officially dropped their highly anticipated fourth EP, No Genre, now available on all major streaming platforms.
Led by the infectious and carefree single “I Feel Good,” No Genre lives up to its title with a confident declaration of creative freedom. BOYNEXTDOOR breaks away from labels and expectations, offering a refreshing mix of genre-bending sounds and emotionally honest storytelling that fans have come to love.
While Jaehyun, Taesan, and Woonhak once again take part in the creative process, penning lyrics and shaping the group’s sonic identity, this EP reaches new heights in versatility. Across seven tracks, No Genre explores love in all its forms—from breezy beginnings to difficult endings.
The EP opens with the nostalgic soul-pop of “123-78,” followed by the summery city pop sound of “Step By Step,” and the playful funk of “Is That True?” As emotions intensify, “Next Mistake” delivers a poignant reflection on faltering relationships, while the previously released digital single “IF I SAY, I LOVE YOU” closes the EP with an upbeat twist on heartbreak.
“I Feel Good” stands out, not just as the title track, but as a mission statement. It’s loud, unapologetic, and bursting with BOYNEXTDOOR’s signature charm. The track’s music video, released via HYBE LABELS on YouTube, matches its energy. The members dance through unexpected everyday settings like convenience stores, buses, and factories, turning them into stages for self-expression. With funky choreography, rockstar antics, and vibrant visuals, the video perfectly captures the spirit of the song—and the group itself.
BOYNEXTDOOR’s momentum shows no signs of slowing. This summer, they’re set to perform at Lollapalooza Chicago 2025, marking their first appearance at the major U.S. music festival. They also recently made history as the first K-Pop group named global ambassadors for the Men’s Volleyball World Championships, where they’ll perform at the opening ceremony.
Debuting under KOZ Entertainment in 2023, BOYNEXTDOOR quickly rose through the ranks with three successful EPs and a digital single that topped charts worldwide. Their relatable lyrics, self-produced tracks, and energetic performances have earned them the nickname “K-Pop’s free spirits” and No Genre only reinforces why.
With a world tour on the horizon and a rapidly expanding international fanbase, BOYNEXTDOOR is proving that the only genre that defines them is their own.
