Lezhin Entertainment expands on its universe with SPAKLZ, a music project, utilizing its popular BL webtoon series. Originally launched in late 2025, the music group was Lezhin’s first step into broadening its hold in the wider entertainment space. Lezhin Snack, the company’s vertical drama platform, also taps into its content ecosystem and adapts its licensed IP into monetized live-action series.

The project’s first iteration includes characters across fourteen Lezhin BL webtoons, including:

  • I-won Ban from R2R
  • Do-bin Moon from Scent and Sensibility
  • Eun-san Baek from Melting Point
  • Dan Kim from Jinx
  • Yuta Kujo from Pearl Boy: Ignite the Dawn
  • Joo-huuk Shin from You Are So Lovely
  • Seung-hyun Lee from Unsleep
  • Na-kyum Baek from Painter of the Night
  • Jin-woo Huh from The Hounds of Sisyphus
  • Buyl Park from Love Is an Illusion! – Superstar
  • Young-yoon Baek from Backlight
  • Yeon-oh Seo from Limited Run
  • I-hyung Seo from Diamond Dust
  • Evon Lake from Black Wooden Horse

Not only did this include a debut single, “COMET,” and an accompanying music video, but the company launched an Instagram account that posted content in the same video style as real K-pop groups.

After the successful launch of a pop-up event in Korea with special SPAKLZ merchandise, the ‘tour’ will bring the experience to different cities around the world. In the U.S., the special SPAKLZ pop-up store will take place at KPOP NARA shops in New York City, Orlando, and Seattle on the following dates:

  • NYC June 18-21|KPOP NARA NYC
  • ORLANDO June 18-21|KPOP NARA Orlando
  • SEATTLE June 18-21|KPOP NARA Seattle

There, fans can expect take pictures with special SPAKLZ merchandise and interact with items ‘signed’ by the characters themselves. In Korea, the pop-up stores included ‘live’ performances with chibi versions of the characters dancing on screen. It’s unclear if the full experience, including the standees and the stage, will be included in the “shop-in-shop” pop-up.
