Billboard has released its 2025 Year-End charts and two Grammy Award-nominated K-pop songs are in the Top 25 Hot 100 songs: Rosé and Bruno Mars’s “APT,” and HUNTR/X’s “Golden” from the KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack. KPDH boasts six additional entries on the overall list, underscoring the soundtrack’s broad appeal since the film’s Netflix release in June.

“APT,” which also appears on Billboard’s Year-End Adult Contemporary Songs (#26), Adult Pop Airplay Songs (#9), Canadian Hot 100 (#3), Streaming Songs (#12), Pop Airplay Songs (#9), and Radio Songs (#12) lists, is in the Top 10 Hot 100 songs at #9. It’s Mars’s second spot in the top 10—”Die with a Smile” with Lady Gaga is at #1—and the highest any K-pop song ranks on the list.

“Golden” claims the highest spot out of the seven songs from the KPop Demon Hunters songs to make the cut, finishing at #25. It also appears on Billboard’s Year-End Canadian Hot 100 (#19), Streaming Songs (#18), and Pop Airplay Songs (#44) lists. Next, “Your Idol” by the Saja Boys ranks at #56 on the Hot 100 Songs, and appears on the Canadian Hot 100 (#48) and Streaming Songs (#31) lists.

“Soda Pop” is the third KPDH song on the Hot 100 at #61, also appearing on the Canadian Hot 100 (#46) and Streaming Songs (#37) lists. It’s followed on the Hot 100 by “How It’s Done” at #68, which additionally ranks on the Canadian Hot 100 (#56), Dance Streaming Songs (#2), Hot Dance/Pop Songs (#3), and Streaming Songs (#41) lists. “What It Sounds Like” comes in at #83 on the Hot 100, and ranks on the Canadian Hot 100 (#58) and Streaming Songs (#53) lists.

Finally, “Free” and the HUNTR/X version of “Takedown” rank back to back at #92 and #93, respectively. “Free” also ranks on the Canadian Hot 100 (#68) and Streaming Songs (#54) Lists, and “Takedown” appears on the Canadian Hot 100 (#70), Dance Streaming Songs (#6), Hot Dance/Pop Songs (#4), and Streaming Songs (#59) lists.

The KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack ranks #13 in Billboard’s Year-End 200 Albums list. Rosé’s solo album, Rosie, also made the list at #112, followed by Stray Kids’ Karma and Hop at #128 and #157, respectively, and Katseye’s Beautiful Chaos at #182.

HUNTR/X also ranked #24 on Billboard’s Top Artists list, followed by Rosé at #44, Saja Boys at #57, Stray Kids at #69, and Jimin at #81.

It’s further worth noting that BLACKPINK’s “Jump” ranked #91 on the Year-End Canadian Hot 100 and #17 on the Dance Streaming Songs list. Lisa’s “Born Again,” featuring Raye and Doja Cat, ranked #44 on the Dance Streaming Songs list.

That’s a lot of numbers, but the main takeaway is that not only is K-pop continuing to top the global charts, but it’s rising in popularity. KPop Demon Hunters, in particular, has shined a light on K-pop in a major way, particularly for younger generations whose first exposure to the industry is through the movie.
