K-Pop girl group TWICE posted a TikTok on their official account thanking ONCE for supporting “TAKEDOWN.”
The video featured members Jeongyeon, Jihyo, and Chaeyoung dancing to the song, which is part of Netflix’s summer hit animated film KPop Demon Hunters. The group previously revealed they had their pick of songs, and while “TAKEDOWN” isn’t the soundtrack’s biggest hit, it was the one that resonated with them most.

TWICE has been open about their love of KPop Demon Hunters and engaged with fans even before the film’s premiere, encouraging ONCE to take the #TAKEDOWNChallenge on TikTok. The group, who was invited to perform at Lollapalooza this year, also surprised the audience with a live performance of the song, closing their set with drones spelling out “THE HONMOON IS SEALED.”
KPop Demon Hunters has gone from strength to strength since its premiere, becoming Netflix’s most-streamed animated film. Songs from the soundtrack, including “Soda Pop,” have also climbed the Billboard charts.
