TWICE lights up Lollapalooza 2025 with surprise KPOP DEMON HUNTERS performance

TWICE made waves at Lollapalooza 2025—and gave fans a performance they won’t soon forget.

As part of their set, members Jeongyeon, Jihyo, and Chaeyoung delivered a surprise performance of “TAKEDOWN,” their hit from the KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack. One fan-recorded video captured the moment with the caption: “HUNTRIX performed at LOLLAPALOOZA to seal the golden honmoon!!” At the end of the 2-minute clip, drones lit up the sky with a flashing message: “THE HONMOON IS SEALED.”

TWICE has been clear about their excitement for the KPop Demon Hunters. In May, they invited fans to join the #TAKEDOWNChallenge on TikTok and later shared their reactions to the HUNTR/X outfits featured in the film. The track quickly gained traction, debuting at #199 on Spotify’s Daily Top Songs Global Chart with over 1.1 million filtered streams.

KPop Demon Hunters continues to break records. It became the first Netflix film to reach a new streaming peak in its fifth week, and its music is proving just as powerful. “Golden,” performed in the film by Huntrix (and by EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and REI AMI on the official soundtrack), has seen sustained popularity. Meanwhile, The Saja Boys’ energetic anthem “Soda Pop” climbed to #5 on the Billboard Global 200 in late July.
