THE HUSKY AND HIS WHITE CAT SHIZUN is devastation, pain, and heartbreak in Volume 10

Two Mo Rans are better than one...right?

As we know… before the light, there must first be darkness. So that means fans have to cry and get their hearts strangled before they finally see their favorite couple get their happy ending.

Seven Seas Entertainment, the biggest danmei publisher in North America, has revealed the penultimate cover for The Husky and His White Cat Shizun. Volume 10 features a dark violet and midnight blue color palette, with the shadowy silhouette of a husky tilting its head upward—its maw open to catch Chu Wanning, who floats above in white, faintly glowing. Taxian-jun shields his face with his arms, his eyes filled with fear and paranoia, while two Mo Rans surround him—one wielding Bugui and the other holding Jiangui.

When The Husky and His White Cat Shizun—shortened to Erha or 2ha in fandom spaces—was first announced for an official English print release, fans were absolutely thrilled. Written by Rou Bao Bu Chi Rou (also the author of Remnants of Filth and Case File Compendium), the series is translated by Jun, Rui, and Yu, with cover and interior illustrations by the one and only St.

The Martyr’s Path

After his failed attempt to kill Hua Binan, Chu Wanning remains at Wushan Palace, held captive once again by Taxian-jun. The opening of the Space-Time Gate of Life and Death has irrevocably changed and merged the two universes, plunging both realms into chaos. At last, Taxian-jun reveals the truth of Hua Binan’s horrific plan: He intends to defy the gods and lead his persecuted people home to their ancestral lands in the demon realm, even if it means destroying both mortal worlds in the process.

While Xue Meng rallies the remaining forces of the cultivation realm to storm the Sisheng Peak of another world, Chu Wanning alone has the power to stand in Hua Binan’s way. Yet after losing the man he loved in two lifetimes, does he still have the strength to oppose the one who ruined him?

Taxian-jun once stood at the top as emperor and the most powerful cultivator in the world. He spread tyranny and terror wherever he went. And yet, despite having everything he could want, something always felt missing. No matter where he went or what he did, he could never fill that void. In despair, he took his own life and was reborn more than a decade in the past, back to when he was a 15-year-old disciple of Chu Wanning—the shizun he both feared and despised. Mo Ran believes he already knows everything about his cold, cruel teacher, but this second chance at life forces him to confront the truth: maybe he never knew him at all.

The Husky and His White Cat Shizun Volume 10 arrives on November 18.
