Dungeon Crawler Carl comic book
I’m sure you don’t need me to tell you the premise of the smash-hit Dungeon Crawler Carl series, but I will anyway.
Carl is an average guy with a girlfriend who definitely isn’t cheating on him. But one night, while his definitely-not-cheating girlfriend is on a tropical vacation with her ex-boyfriend, Carl is one of the few humans who survives a transformation that flattens the surface of the Earth and creates an RPG-style dungeon in the planet’s interior. Along with his co-adventurer, the freshly-sentient feline Princess Donut (and real star of the show), Carl must survive dungeon ghouls and bosses, other human adventurers and an AI with a sick, sick foot fetish as he makes his way to the deepest level of the dungeon in pursuit of survival, deliverance and (just maybe) glory.
For the physical adaptation, artist Kuzomari will be added to the comic’s creative roster, which will boast “scaled-up art that will fit the comic page.” And boy, if you like variant covers, you’re in luck. The adaptation promises main covers by Gooden (Post Malone’s Big Rig) and variant covers by Ryan Ottley, Brett Bean, Frank Cho, Clayton Crain, Yoshi Yoshitani, Katie Cook, Riley Rossmo, Tyler Walpole, Doug Mahnke, Trish Forstner, Todd Beats, Tony Moy, and prose series cover artist Luciano Fleitas.
