Remow launches It’s Anime FAST channel on Vizio’s WatchFree+

Tokyo-based entertainment company Remow has announced the U.S. launch of It’s Anime, a 24/7 FAST (Free Ad-Supported Streaming TV) channel on Vizio’s free streaming service, WatchFree+. The channel will offer Japanese anime for free, without a subscription requirement.

Vizio customers and those with Vizio OS smart TVs can watch It’s Anime on channel 986 in the WatchFree+ app on their TV. Additionally, anyone who downloads the Vizio mobile app can access the channel through WatchFree+ for free.

“We are delighted to bring the It’s Anime FAST channel to Vizio WatchFree+ customers,” said Remow CEO Akira Ishii. “This launch will help grow Remow’s mission of expanding anime viewing opportunities for dedicated anime fans as well as introducing fresh, new anime titles to a general audience who might not have had the opportunity to explore until now. We are eager for this launch to significantly advance contributions to Japanese anime creators whose creative artwork is meant to be celebrated and rewarded.”

It’s Anime will feature classic titles and new seasons of ongoing series, including Tougen AnkiHell Teacher: Jigoku Sensei NubeThere’s No Freaking Way I’ll be Your Lover! Unless…Fermat Kitchen未ル(Miru): Paths To My FutureUmamusume: Cinderella Gray, and Your Forma, among others.

Remow aims to reduce anime piracy, expand its fanbase, and increase contributions to and opportunities for Japanese creators. The It’s Anime FAST channel is part of this effort. The channel launched on Samsung TV Plus over the summer, and is now available on Vizio’s WatchFree+. Some episodes are also available on YouTube.
