Based on the hit Netflix series, Stranger Things: The Other Side explores Will Byers’ harrowing experience in the Upside Down during the events of the show’s first season. Originally published by Dark Horse Comics, the series is being reformatted into WEBTOON’s signature vertical-scroll format, making it easier than ever for fans to experience the story on mobile devices.

The release date for Stranger Things: The Other Side on WEBTOON will be announced at a later date, but first-look images were unveiled today at NYCC, teasing the eerie and nostalgic world of Hawkins like never before.

Plants vs. Zombies™ Joins the Fight on November 1

Next up is the chaotic, comedic showdown between brain-hungry zombies and their leafy defenders. Plants vs. Zombies™ is officially debuting on WEBTOON on November 1, 2025, bringing the long-running Dark Horse comic series to a new audience in a vertical-scroll format for the first time.

Fans can expect plenty of the humor and over-the-top action that have made Plants vs. Zombies a cult favorite across games, comics, and animation.

WEBTOON x Dark Horse: A Growing Collaboration

These new additions follow previously announced Dark Horse titles reimagined for WEBTOON, including Critical Role: The Mighty Nein Origins, The Witcher, and The Legend of Korra, along with the already-launched Cyberpunk 2077 series.

WEBTOON’s ongoing collaboration with Dark Horse continues to expand the reach of fan-favorite worlds, introducing them to digital comic readers worldwide in a fresh, mobile-friendly way.
