The worlds of K-Pop, anime-inspired storytelling, and comfort food just collided in the best way possible. Nongshim, Korea’s leading food brand, has unveiled a special collaboration with Netflix’s hit animated film KPop Demon Hunters—and fans in the U.S. can now grab themed Shin Ramyun and snacks at their local Costco, Walmart, Kroger, and H Mart.
The limited-edition packaging features designs inspired by KPop Demon Hunters, which follows a K-Pop girl group moonlighting as demon hunters. The collab is more than clever branding: Nongshim’s iconic instant noodles and snacks actually made cameos in the movie, sparking discussion among eagle-eyed fans.
Alongside the special-edition Shin Ramyun, Nongshim is also rolling out Shin Ramyun Toomba and shrimp crackers with exclusive KPop Demon Hunters packaging. The products debuted in Korea last month before making their way stateside, with plans for further expansion into Europe and Southeast Asia.
With Nongshim operating two manufacturing plants in California, the U.S. was a natural hub for the launch. Now, fans can enjoy a steaming bowl of Shin Ramyun while rewatching KPop Demon Hunters, blending the comfort of classic Korean snacks with the excitement of Netflix’s supernatural K-Pop adventure.
