Inklore announces release window for KING’S MAKER: TRIPLE CROWN

King’s Maker fans have something to celebrate.

Inklore announced at Anime NYC that they had licensed the mature and uncensored version of the King’s Maker sequel, King’s Maker: Triple Crown. The first volume will release sometime in Spring 2027, which may seem far off, but we’re in the last few months of 2025, and 2027 will be here before you know it. Inklore had previously announced Triple Crown for release in 2026; the date has since been pushed to a year later. The final cover for the English print edition will be revealed at a later date.

Created by HAGA and Kang Jiyoung, King’s Maker: Triple Crown follows the events after King’s Maker, with Wolfgang Goldenleonard and Shin Soohyuk dealing with the aftermath of Wolfgang rising to the throne after taking down the tyrant king. Turmoil isn’t far away, as the two must deal with rebels and the tumultuous nature of their relationship while trying to navigate their present and future. Tappytoon’s official synopsis is as follows:

The King is back. With the defeat of his father, Wolfgang Goldenleonard has achieved all that he’s sought — the love of Shin Soohyuk, the power of the throne, and vengeance over the kingdom’s tyrannical ruler. But, Soohyuk, a “possession” of the former king, views their rocky relationship as one of war trophy and victor, despite Wolfgang showering him with affection. As uncertainty grows in the royal courts, forces beyond their control are preparing a second coup d’etat. Will these two be able to keep a grasp on the throne and on each other? The saga of King’s Maker continues in this official second part of the hit BL series!
