TWICE’s Chaeyoung has officially announced her first solo album, led by the single AVOCADO (feat. Gliiico), dropping Friday, September 12 at 1 p.m. KST. The music video premiered through TWICE’s official Instagram, with links to YouTube and Naver TV.

It’s been a milestone year for TWICE. The group has toured globally, appeared at Lollapalooza, and contributed to the KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack, with Chaeyoung, Jeongyeon, and Jihyo performing the track “TAKEDOWN.” They also celebrated their 10th anniversary with a new studio album, This Is For.

Since their debut in 2015 under JYP Entertainment, TWICE has grown into one of K-Pop’s most beloved groups, consisting of nine members: Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu. Chaeyoung now joins the list of members with solo releases, alongside Nayeon (Im Nayeon, 2022; NA, 2024), Jihyo (Zone, 2023), and Tzuyu (aboutTZU, 2024).

As TWICE continues to thrive, fans can now look forward to Chaeyoung’s long-awaited solo debut.
