Following the breakout success of their debut EP UNCUT GEM, rising K-Pop girl group KiiiKiii (Jiyu, Leesol, Sui, Haum, Kya) has returned with a new digital single, “DANCING ALONE.” Blending city pop rhythms with retro synths, the track delivers a vibrant yet introspective take on connection, freedom, and emotional honesty.
UNCUT GEM earned over 30 million Spotify streams and critical acclaim earlier this year, powered by the viral pre-release single “I DO ME,” which racked up 13 million YouTube views. The group quickly made a name for their Y2K-inspired visuals, immersive storytelling, and unfiltered energy, and “DANCING ALONE” continues to expand that creative identity.

Though its tempo is upbeat, the song isn’t about isolation. Instead, it reframes “being alone” as moments shared through glances, laughter, and fleeting memories. The music video trades polished choreography for genuine emotion, showcasing candid scenes of the members against warm, nostalgic backdrops.
The release also includes the b-side “Strawberry Cheesegame,” a playful early 2000s-inspired dance pop track. Beneath its cute exterior lies a layered narrative of friendship, jealousy, and subtle rivalry, delivered with KiiiKiii’s signature mix of sincerity and kitsch.
True to form, the rollout has been highly interactive. Fans engaged with the KiiiKiii Garage Sale, a retro desktop-style website featuring exclusive content and custom poster tools, while teaser photos and videos captured everyday summer moments in a dreamy, film-like style.
