Ize Press announces BTS’s 7FATES: CHAKHO webnovel releases in October

2025 marks a major BTS comeback, both musically and print debut for 7FATES: CHAKHO.

ARMYs around the world are bracing themselves for an emotional June, when all seven members of global K-pop phenomenon BTS complete their mandatory military service. But Ize Press has a special treat in store for fans this fall. On October 7, 7FATES: CHAKHO, the webnovel created by HYBE in collaboration with BTS and co-produced by WEBTOON, will make its explosive print debut.

The print edition will be a standalone hardcover volume that includes exclusive photos of BTS, making it a must-have collector’s item for fans.

Ize Press previously published the 7FATES: CHAKHO webcomic, which concluded with seven volumes. Both the webnovel and webcomic originally launched on WEBTOON on January 15, 2022. Since then, the webnovel has racked up more than 4.1 million views on Wattpad (English and Spanish) and 1.6 million on WEBTOON (Indonesian and Thai). The webcomic itself has drawn nearly 35 million views on WEBTOON’s English platform alone.

HYBE has also released other webcomic series featuring artists like TXT, ENHYPEN, LE SSERAFIM, and ILLIT. Ize Press plans to publish the webnovel versions of TXT’s The Star Seekers and ENHYPEN’s Dark Moon: The Blood Altar before the end of the year.

The official synopsis for 7FATES: CHAKHO reads:

It all begins when Zeha wakes up in a hospital with no memory of how he got there. Retracing his steps, he stumbles onto a terrible truth—the city is under attack by otherworldly monsters called the Beom, and at the center of it all is Zeha himself! But thankfully, he does not stand alone. Others who have bravely taken up the fight cross paths with Zeha, seemingly drawn to each other by fate. The seven hunters band together to defend their home, but they soon begin to realize that the Beom invasion is only the beginning…
