Lee Gpiee, the creator of the webcomic Doridosim, is officially engaged!

On May 26 (KST), Gpiee shared a slideshow on her official Instagram account, revealing the special moment. The photos featured a vibrant red flower bouquet and a card that read, “Will you marry me?” Other images showed Gpiee reacting to the proposal, along with solo shots of her and her now-fiancé. She captioned the post with a simple “YES,” using a rose emoji to represent the “Y.”

A Look at Gpiee’s Works

Gpiee is the writer and artist behind all her comics, spanning a range of genres from romance to drama and Boys’ Love (BL). Her most well-known work, Doridosim, follows Kang Dol, a lovestruck teen whose growing crush on classmate Yang Yang takes an unexpected turn. Just as he musters the courage to confess, he’s interrupted by Min Dosim—the most popular girl in school—who suddenly accepts his confession and becomes his girlfriend.

In Roommate 101, Gpiee shifts to a coming-of-age drama centered on Lee Hyuk, a medical student who dreams of becoming an artist. After stealing money from his sister and running away from home, Hyuk ends up working as a teacher—only to discover that his landlord is also his student, the notorious school delinquent, Biru. Though Hyuk is an adult, he lacks real-world experience, while Biru has more than his share. The two clash constantly, but their unlikely bond helps them grow in ways neither expected.

ANTI P.T. is a steamy BL series about Param, a handsome and successful young man working at one of Korea’s top firms. While he seems perfect on the outside, Param harbors a secret: his body is extremely sensitive, and even light physical contact overwhelms him. He’s been managing in secret—until a new personal trainer at the gym catches him in a compromising situation. What starts as a potential disaster may end up being exactly what Param needs.

In False Memories, another BL title, Gpiee explores betrayal and redemption. The story follows Wan, a man whose intimidating appearance hides a soft heart. On his first day at a new school, he’s befriended by the seemingly angelic Ha-woon—only to be hurt by a devastating betrayal. Years later, a chance accident gives Wan the opportunity to rewrite their story, starting with one big, fat lie.
