Manta drops new BETRAYAL OF DIGNITY side story

Betrayal of Dignity returns with a brand-new bonus webnovel volume.

The world of Betrayal of Dignity heats up again with a second bonus webnovel volume, now available on Manta. Divided into three parts—“Priscilla,” “Role Reversal,” and “Damien’s Fortune”—this latest installment continues the spicy and dramatic story created by KIMPA. Released on April 17, 2025, the new volume costs 30 GEMs to unlock and explores what happens after the original storyline ends.

The first four volumes and the initial bonus volume debuted on January 31, 2024. While fans are eager for more, Manta has yet to confirm whether these side stories will also be adapted into bonus episodes for the webcomic.

Manta Comics adapted Betrayal of Dignity into a webcomic, with Bokyung Kong as the adapter, Seongmo An as the producer, Jellyfish handling the translation, and Ellie serving as editor. Since its debut on February 11, 2023, the webcomic has quickly become one of Manta’s most popular romantasy titles. The series wrapped up after 81 episodes and three dramatic seasons on February 26, 2025.

The story centers on Chloe Verdier, a noblewoman whose family teeters on the brink of financial ruin. Their only hope lies in a marriage alliance with the powerful—and deeply red-flaggy—Duke Damien Thisse. But when Chloe’s younger sister elopes with her lover, Chloe must take her place as the duke’s fiancée. The bigger mystery remains: why does Damien want to marry Chloe in the first place? And what happens when she begins to fall for him for real?
