Global fans of Lady Gaga, Jisoo, and other superstars were in for a surprise during Super Bowl LX. Sunday’s National Football League championship game featured a Pokémon commercial in the expensive third quarter (a prime ad window), which ended with the question, “What’s Your Favorite?”
Featuring Young Miko, Trevor Noah, F1 Driver Charles Leclerc, footballer Lamine Yamal, actor Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, Young Miko, Jisoo, and Lady Gaga, they all revealed their favorite Pokémon. Of course, the diva sang alongside the pink balloon, who went toe-to-toe with her “twelve octave vocal range.”
The ad was in celebration of the Pokémon Company’s 30th anniversary, as well as a promotion to drive fans to create and share their #Pokemon30 snapshot through Pokémon Go.
Both Lady Gaga and Young Miko appeared at the halftime show alongside Puerto Rican artist, Bad Bunny.
