Bboong Bbang Kkyu‘s BL series, Mignon, released the first of nineteen webtoon episodes on Ridibooks at the end of January. The 2023 animation went through rocky times until it found its home on Vimeo. Prior to the official release date announcement at the end of last year by production company ABJ Company, author BBK posted a teaser in April 2025 with the caption: “mystery.” After the release went live, the author confirmed that, indeed, the image from nearly eight months ago was a work-in-progress for the webtoon.
During the first episode release, ABJ Company posted a teaser to announce another surprise: orders for two printed volumes of the webtoon, an animation feature film (likely the twelve original episodes), and a brand new eleven-minute side story video will go live on February 10th, 2026. This will be through Tumblbug, a platform for crowdfunded merchandise packages where creators can fundraise for activities like self-publishing. Currently, this is only available in Korea.
There’s been no announcement of an English release for the webtoon as of yet.
