Next summer, Inklore will release the first print volume of the fantasy adventure webtoon Daughter of a Thousand Faces by Velinxi. Today, K-Comics Beat can reveal the cover art and two interior pages from the book.

Published digitally on Tapas since 2023, the Eisner and Ringo Award nominated Daughter of a Thousand Faces has garnered nearly 2 million views and boasts nearly 47 thousand subscribers. The Chinese-inspired fantasy follows Shen Yuhua on her journey from being “the most disappointing daughter in her family to the disciple of the world’s most infamous demon.”

“Yuhua is the type of heroine anyone can root for, and her wily shifu Chu Tian is irresistible in his own right,” says Katelyn Hemmeke, series editor at Inklore. “Velinxi is an absolute gem, and Inklore could not be more thrilled to bring this masterpiece of hers into print. We can’t wait for new readers to plunge into the world of Daughter of a Thousand Faces—and for Vel’s existing fans to fall in love with her work all over again.”

Daughters of a Thousand Faces, Vol. 1, collects Chapters 1-20 of the webcomic. It will be available everywhere books are sold on August 25, 2026. Preorders are available now.
