HUNTR/X’s mission isn’t over yet. Following massive box office and streaming success, KPop Demon Hunters is headed into the world of Magic: The Gathering next year.
During Hasbro’s recent third-quarter investor call, CEO Chris Cocks confirmed that the hit Netflix film will be featured in a Secret Lair drop in 2026. “If we can figure out how to get people jazzed up about SpongeBob SquarePants collectible cards,” Cocks joked, “I’m pretty sure we can do it with one of the biggest movies of all time.”
Unlike crossover decks such as Spider-Man or Final Fantasy, KPop Demon Hunters will be part of Magic’s limited-edition Secret Lair series—a collector-focused line known for its stylized artwork and pop culture tie-ins. Hasbro previously saw major success with its SpongeBob SquarePants release, and with KPop Demon Hunters still dominating Netflix’s charts and heading back to theaters, expectations are high for another hit collaboration.
The film’s continued momentum—from breaking streaming records to expanding into toys through Hasbro and Mattel—suggests the Magic crossover will be another step in solidifying KPop Demon Hunters as a global multimedia phenomenon.
Fans can likely expect exclusive card art and themed designs inspired by HUNTR/X, the demon-hunting K-Pop idols who’ve captured hearts around the world.
More details about the KPop Demon Hunters Secret Lair drop, including artwork and release specifics, will be revealed closer to launch.
