NYCC ’25: Yen Press and Ize Press announce FOUR IN LOVE and SOLO LEVELING: RAGNAROK

A new Taiwanese manhua and the spin-off of one of Ize Press’s top-selling webcomic series will be available in English soon.

Announced at the Yen Press industry panel at New York Comic Con on Saturday, the publisher unveiled a number of licenses, including Four in Love, a collection of short stories created by Crystal Kung, a Taiwanese artist, and Solo Leveling: Ragnarok, the spin-off starring Sung Jinwoo’s son, Sung Suho.

Four in Love

Kung’s collection of four short stories was first published in 2020. Four in Love will be released between April and May 2026.

What is “love” to you? Is it the determination to find your soulmate, guided by the red thread of fate? Is it an ideal dream quashed by the pains of reality? Is it a quest to seek companionship in a virtual world? Or is it the bravery to hold hands when facing adversity?

In this stunning full-color collection, Taiwanese artist Crystal Kung depicts the many facets of love in four short stories. Laugh, cry, hope, and cheer at every beautiful moment love brings–joy and heartbreak alike.

Solo Leveling: Ragnarok

Chugong’s Solo Leveling took the world by storm in March 2018 when it was adapted into a manhwa by REDICES Studio‘s Dubu and became one of KakaoPage, Tapas, Tappytoon’s top title. Two years after it ended, a spin-off title called Solo Leveling: Ragnarok was announced with a new writer, Daul, attached to it. A manhwa adaptation with Jin illustrating and Brix adapting launched in October 2024 on Tapas and currently has 1.3 million views.

Tapas’s synopsis is as follows:

After witnessing the death of one of their own, the Absolute Ones — creators of the many universes outside of our own — frantically seek to fill the power void left by their fallen brother. With earth’s existence in danger once more as gates spill monsters into our dimension, Sung Suho must answer the call and conquer the shadow dungeon while learning of his father’s legendary legacy.

Solo Leveling: Ragnarok releases in June 2026.
