HUNTR/X has revealed what a collaboration between their group and global icons BLACKPINK might sound like.

During an interview with IMDb, members EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami were asked, “If BLACKPINK and HUNTR/X made a song together, what would it sound like?” EJAE immediately replied, “It would sound similar to ‘How It’s Done.’” Rei Ami chimed in playfully, adding, “Yeah, like, ‘done, done, done.’”

EJAE explained that the producers behind “How It’s Done” were from The Black Label, the same powerhouse production team affiliated with YG Entertainment and known for their work with BLACKPINK.

The Black Label—stylized as THEBLΛƆKLΛBEL—was founded in 2015 by Teddy Park and Kush. While BLACKPINK is officially signed under YG Entertainment, Teddy Park has been a key creative force behind the group’s biggest hits, including “Whistle” and “Boombayah.” His production credits also include work with Sunmi, BIGBANG, and 2NE1.

As Rei Ami put it, “It’d be very high energy,” and given both groups’ reputations for bold, genre-blending tracks, that seems fitting. EJAE added, “It’d be like BLACKPINK with more harmonies.”

With HUNTR/X’s rich vocal layering and BLACKPINK’s commanding presence, it’s easy to imagine their hypothetical collaboration topping charts worldwide. While fans can only dream for now, the idea of these two powerhouse acts joining forces is one that could set the internet ablaze.
