EJAE, the powerhouse voice behind KPop Demon Hunters’ Rumi and the songwriter behind the film’s viral hit “Golden,” recently revealed which artists she hopes to collaborate with in the future.
During an interview at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas, EJAE shared that she’d love to work with BLACKPINK’s Lisa, Doja Cat, Raye, and Maroon 5—artists she says she deeply admires. The revelation, reported by Kiss Magazine Korea on Instagram, quickly sparked excitement among fans.
Lisa’s fans, known as Lilies, flooded the comments with enthusiasm, writing, “The beautiful voice wants to collab with the most successful and talented female artist,” “This would be the best,” and simply, “Lisa 🔥.”
Beyond her standout work on the KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack, EJAE has an impressive résumé in the K-Pop industry. She has written tracks for major acts such as Red Velvet, aespa, TWICE, and LE SSERAFIM. Most notably, she co-wrote Red Velvet’s “Psycho,” the chart-topping lead single from their 2019 album The ReVe Festival: Finale.
Since its release, KPop Demon Hunters has continued to dominate charts and social media alike, solidifying its place as one of Netflix’s biggest hits. With its blend of K-Pop flair, action, and heart, the film has inspired everything from Funko POP! figures to limited-edition Nongshim cup noodles and a themed attraction at Korea’s Everland theme park.
As EJAE’s star rises alongside the film’s global success, fans are eager to see what collaborations—and hits—she’ll create next.
