Tappytoon teams up with K-Pop group NEWBEAT for BULLET TIME MV

Tappytoon, the global webtoon platform operated by Contents First, has announced a new collaboration with K-Pop boy group NEWBEAT. The partnership brings together NEWBEAT’s debut title track “Flip the Coin” with Tappytoon’s original BL cyberpunk webtoon Bullet Time in an exclusive animated music video debuting September 26 across Tappytoon’s social channels and digital platforms.

The project blends the pulse of K-Pop with the gritty, neon-lit world of Bullet Time, a story of love and betrayal between a gangster and a spy. The webtoon, produced by Tappytoon Studio with creators Dark History and BINO, launched in July and has quickly built momentum among BL fans. In August, it climbed to third place on Tappytoon’s BL popularity charts, with particular traction in North America and Europe.

The music video highlights the series’ striking character designs while pairing them with the energetic hooks of “Flip the Coin,” a track inspired by ’90s old-school sounds.

Contents First has steadily expanded its webtoon IP business with global initiatives, including publishing partnerships with Penguin Random House and merchandise offerings through its official platform, Club JEM. Its collaborations also extend to major studios such as REDICE STUDIO and CJ ENM.

Meanwhile, NEWBEAT, who debuted in March with their first full album, has already built a strong international presence with standout performances at KCON and ATA (Asia Top Artist) Festival.

The Bullet Time x NEWBEAT music video premieres September 26.
