LET’S PLAY by mongie coming exclusively to Tapas

Let’s Play has finally found a new home.

Let’s Play, a beloved romance & gaming VSC with a huge fanbase, has been on hiatus for some time. The series’ creator, Leeanne M. Krecic (mongie), shared updates in 2024 about her contract with WEBTOON and the reasons behind her conflict with the platform, as reported by K-Comics Beat in June 2025.

Fans speculated that Let’s Play would resume on Manta Comics since her new project, Dragon King Oath, became a Manta exclusive, and the creator praised the platform’s dedicated approach.

Instead, readers were pleasantly surprised to spot Let’s Play on Tapas’ main page by chance! The only available chapter is an announcement revealing that the series will be exclusive to Tapas and updated weekly with three episodes every Wednesday. The first update drops September 29, and Tapas has added the series to its 3-hour WUF section—meaning you can unlock one chapter for free every three hours.

Neither Tapas nor mongie have posted anything on social media about the move. It’s curious that Tapas didn’t advertise the launch or feature the series in its main banner. The three-chapters-per-week rollout feels more like a re-release of Let’s Play rather than a continuation, instead of dropping the previous seasons at once and diving straight into the next. This approach may help Tapas attract new readers while also rekindling longtime fans’ excitement and preparing them for the upcoming season.
