Ever wanted to dance to the demon-dissing anthem “Takedown”? Or the bright and bubbly “Soda Pop”? Maybe you’re ready to help seal the Honmoon with “Golden”? Now you can!

Fans aren’t just uploading singing covers—they’re also creating dance covers. Since KPop Demon Hunters only teased short snippets of choreography, fans had to imagine the rest. Now, the original choreographers have uploaded the full routines. Some, like K-Tigers’ version of “Soda Pop,” look very different from the final cut—a common practice since stage performances need to balance dancing with live singing. Choreographer Jo Na-in designed the moves for both “Takedown” and “Golden.”

In an interview with Billboard, Jo expressed her excitement at seeing “Golden” soar to the top of the Billboard Hot 100, calling it “typically a distant chart [for a dancer].” She explained her approach:

“The Golden choreography was designed to express emotions more dramatically and intuitively than a typical K-pop performance. Also, because it’s realized through animation, I made the movements bigger and more expansive, and I paid close attention to details like facial expressions and fingertips to ensure they come across well onscreen.”

“Takedown” has two versions—one performed by TWICE members Jeongyeon, Jihyo, and Chaeyoung, and another by EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami. Songwriters Lindgren and Melanie Fontana penned the lyrics.

“Golden,” written by EJAE, Sonnenblick, 24, Ido, and Park, has its own emotional backstory. EJAE revealed she came up with the melody on her way to the dentist, then refined it with composer Mark Sonnenblick. Recording the demo left her in tears:

“The bridge especially was difficult to sing because I related so much to the character [Rumi], and I’ve known her for so long.”

“Soda Pop” was performed by Andrew Choi, Neckwav, Danny Chung, Kevin Woo, and SamUIL Lee, with songwriting credits to Chung, Kush, Vince, 24, and Dominsuk. Recently, rumors spread that AI helped write the song after a mistranslated report about Vince’s comments at an OpenAI event in Korea. In reality, Vince had spoken more broadly about AI’s role in K-pop production—the track itself was not written with ChatGPT.

KPop Demon Hunters is now streaming on Netflix.
