VIXX’s Ken shares preview of solo album RE:BORN

The 37-second TikTok clip highlights Ken’s powerful vocals as fans celebrate his long-awaited return.

This week, VIXX’s Ken, also known as Lee Jaehwan, released a special preview clip from his solo project album RE:BORN.

The 37-second TikTok clip shows Ken belting out his new song, now available for pre-order. Fans quickly filled the comments with praise for his vocals, writing, “forever one of my favorite vocalists,” “BAND VIBES REALLY SUITS YOUUUU SOOO MUCH,” and “this song makes me want to get up and live life a little brighter.”

Ken debuted with VIXX in 2012, when Jellyfish Entertainment formed the group through the competition show MyDOL. The original lineup included N, Leo, Ken, Hyuk, Hongbin, and Ravi. Hongbin departed in August 2020 following a livestreaming controversy, and Ravi left in April 2023 after allegedly being involved in an illegal military exemption scheme. Despite these changes—and Ken and Leo leaving Jellyfish Entertainment—the group continues with four members: N, Leo, Ken, and Hyuk. VIXX has also earned recognition for its philanthropy, from serving as Goodwill Ambassadors for The Salvation Army to helping a fan with muscular dystrophy attend one of their concerts.

Fans have eagerly awaited more solo music from Ken, who has been celebrated for his powerful vocals since his debut.
