The event also revealed the cast of the seven vampires. Kikunosuke Toya voices Heli, the oldest vampire with the power of telepathy. Hiroto Shimizu makes his voice acting debut as Jaan, who possesses superhuman strength. Shugo Nakamura plays the kind Jino, who controls fire. Jin Ogasawara voices Solon, a cautious, distant vampire who keeps his abilities secret. Shunichi Toki portrays the cheerful Shion, whose bright personality complements his power to charm. Yuto Uemura brings to life Jakah, a speedy strategist. Finally, Chiaki Kobayashi voices Noa, who controls shadows. Fuka Izumi rounds out the cast as Sooha, a girl who despises vampires for their role in her friend’s death.

HYBE created Dark Moon: The Blood Altar in collaboration with Naver Webtoon, basing the characters on ENHYPEN. The series ran from January 2022 to August 2023 with 70 chapters in total. A later webnovel adaptation further expanded the story, and Ize Press publishes the physical print edition.

The franchise also includes a prequel, Children of Vamfield, and a spin-off prequel featuring &Team titled The Grey City.

WEBTOON provides the following synopsis:

Welcome to Riverfield, where the most popular boys at two rival schools happen to be vampires and werewolves. When a mysterious new student, Sooha, transfers to Riverfield, the rivals find themselves inexplicably drawn to her. As horrible incidents start to shake the town, the boys’ forgotten pasts slowly start to unravel… and their world turns upside down.

Fans can catch up on Dark Moon: The Blood Altar now on WEBTOON before the anime premieres.
