K-Pop continues to dominate the global stage as “Golden,” the breakout hit from Netflix’s KPop Demon Hunters, holds strong at No. 1 on the UK Official Singles Chart for the fourth consecutive week and five weeks total at the top.
Released as part of the film’s original soundtrack, “Golden” has also spent three weeks at No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100. Meanwhile, the movie itself recently claimed the top spot on Netflix’s all-time most popular content list, underscoring its worldwide impact.
Rival idols Saja Boys, who play HUNTR/X’s on-screen rivals in the film, also continue to make waves. Their track “Soda Pop” landed at No. 5 this week, marking seven consecutive weeks on the chart, while “Your Idol” slipped to No. 8 but extended its streak to 10 weeks.
TWICE members Jeongyeon, Jihyo, and Chaeyoung joined the rankings with “TAKEDOWN” debuting at No. 24. In total, four tracks from the KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack now sit in the UK Top 40, cementing the film’s soundtrack as a global K-Pop powerhouse.
According to the Official Charts Company, K-Pop is dominating the UK rankings this week, with six Korean tracks breaking into the Top 40; a testament to the genre’s unstoppable global reach.
