Hai Tang Books licenses I CAN DO IT with RoadSoft making debut

Another one of Jiang Zi Bei‘s danmei novels is making its official English debut.

Newcomer danmei publisher Hai Tang Books revealed the first volume cover of I Can Do It, their second e-sports license. The cover shows Soft with his iconic fluffy blue hair in the background as he plays LoL, while Road, wearing a cap slung low to hide his eyes, takes the foreground. At the bottom, the cover teases:

“Who do I think will win? Dunno, depends on the condition of the teams. If TTC wins, will I send red envelopes? It’s not like I’m TTC’s brand ambassador, why would I? …Is Kan better or me?”

The back cover skips the synopsis for now and instead showcases TTC’s roster, marking each player’s position with a mouse-trail path leading to Soft’s profile. I Can Do It will span five volumes and include a web extra, published extra, and exclusive extra.

This comedy romance dives into the life of an esports player and streamer, spotlighting Jian Rong and Lu Boyuan, two members of TTC. On the LPL stage, Jian Rong competes as Soft, a sharp-tongued, trash-talking mid-laner who never hesitates to verbally spar with opponents online. The only person he treats gently is Lu Boyuan—TTC’s captain and jungler known as Road.

Hai Tang Books previously released their first danmei series, also by Jiang Zi Bei, Guide on How to Fail at Online Dating. They closed preorders for Volume 2 and plan to release it later.

The publisher will open preorders for I Can Do It’s first volume later this year.
