HYBE posted strong Q2 2025 results, with revenue climbing 10.2% year-over-year to 705.6 billion KRW ($516.7 million) and operating profit jumping nearly 30% to 65.9 billion KRW ($48.3 million). Global tours and major releases from artists—especially BTS members j-Hope and Jin—fueled the growth.
Concert and merchandise sales rose by double digits, driven by tours from SEVENTEEN, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, and LE SSERAFIM. j-Hope’s Hope On The Stage tour sold nearly 500,000 tickets across 33 shows before his Lollapalooza Germany headlining slot. Jin’s debut solo tour covered 18 shows in nine cities.
News of BTS members completing military service pushed HYBE’s fan platform Weverse to a record 12 million monthly active users.
Artist-driven revenue, from music sales, concerts, ads, and appearances, increased 5.7% to 447.9 billion KRW ($328 million). Concert revenue surged 31% to 188.7 billion KRW ($138.2 million), offsetting an 8.4% dip in recorded music sales.
Major Q2 releases included Jin’s Echo (No. 3 on Billboard 200), j-Hope & GloRilla’s “Killin’ It Girl” (No. 40 Hot 100), SEVENTEEN’s HAPPY BURSTDAY, ENHYPEN’s DESIRE: UNLEASH (No. 3 Billboard 200), and ILLIT’s bomb.
Merchandise, licensing, and fan club revenue hit 257.8 billion KRW ($188.8 million), with merch and licensing up 40% and fan club income up 46% to an all-time high. Weverse’s revenue rose 41% quarter-over-quarter.
HYBE’s CEO Lee Jae-sang also outlined a reorganization of North and Latin American operations, appointing Isaac Lee as HYBE America CEO to strengthen label-focused business strategies and build stable streaming-driven earnings.
