KCON 2025 welcomed tens of thousands of fans to the Los Angeles Convention Center and Crypto.com Arena this past weekend, transforming the city into a vibrant celebration of Korean pop culture. From blockbuster performances by top idol groups to community-driven panels, the annual convention once again demonstrated how K-Pop continues to transcend borders and genres.
With its signature mix of concerts, workshops, fashion activations, and food booths, KCON served as both a fan playground and industry summit. This year’s lineup featured powerhouse acts alongside rising rookies, bringing together generations of fans and reaffirming the genre’s broad, international appeal.
At a media roundtable, CJ ENM’s Head of Live Entertainment, Park Chan Uk, cited KPop Demon Hunters as one example of how Korean movies and TV shows continue to contribute to the global appeal of Korean culture.
Beyond the main stage performances, fans attended panels on idol training, the globalization of K-Dramas, and the cultural impact of Korean fashion and beauty. The convention floor buzzed with energy as creators, influencers, and fans gathered to celebrate the creativity that drives the Hallyu, or Korean Wave.
With every passing year, KCON reinforces what many already know: K-Pop is no longer a niche—it’s a force shaping the future of global entertainment.
