During Anime Expo 2025, WEBTOON revealed that “Urek Mazino,” a side story from TOWER OF GOD creator SIU, will be released in English through their platform.
The story centers on Urek Mazino, a fan-favorite character from the long-running webcomic TOWER OF GOD. A 4th Rank Irregular, Urek is considered by many weaker Rankers to rival the legendary Phantaminum in power. However, his exact rank remains uncertain, largely due to the inactivity of the top two Rankers.
Originally released in Korean on Naver WEBTOON on April 29, “Urek Mazino” has yet to receive an official English release date.
SIU made their first-ever U.S. appearance at Anime Expo this year, signing at the WEBTOON booth (E-90 in the Entertainment Hall) on Friday, July 4, and Saturday, July 5 from 1:00–2:30 p.m.
