In a recent post on her official Facebook page, Arden Cho—who voices Rumi, the lead vocalist of the K-Pop group Huntrix (stylized as HUNTR/X)—encouraged fans to stream the animated hit KPop Demon Hunters on Netflix.

Her official post reads as follows:

“Just a girl… standing in front of a giant ‘N’… asking you to stream her demon-slaying era.

Fans were quick to respond. One commented, “Watching right now! I love Rumi!” while another said, “Just finished watching it. I love your voice!”

KPop Demon Hunters premiered on June 20 and quickly soared to #1 on Netflix’s Top 10 Movies in the U.S., also topping the charts in 18 other countries. The film has been widely praised for its stunning animation and addictive music.

The story follows Huntrix, a K-Pop girl group made up of Rumi, Mira, and Zoey, who double as demon hunters. Using their voices, they create a magical barrier called the Honmoon to keep demonic forces at bay. But when a rival K-Pop boy band called the Saja Boys emerges, serving the dark king Gwi-Ma and feeding off fan energy, the girls face their fiercest battle yet.

Arden Cho voices Rumi, a fierce and guarded idol hiding a painful secret. May Hong plays Mira, a bubbly singer whose bright demeanor masks a haunting past. Jiyoung Yoo brings Zoey to life—a talented songwriter and rapper grappling with deep-seated insecurities. Ahn Hyo-seop lends his voice to Jinu, the confident and magnetic leader of the Saja Boys.
