Marriage of Convenience has dropped its cover for Vol. 1 of the official English release.
Ize Press, the Yen Press imprint dedicated to Korean content including webnovels and manhwa, has revealed the cover for Volume 1 of Marriage of Convenience. The English edition features the same design as the Korean release, showcasing Zachary de Arno lifting Bianca de Arno in a romantic bridal carry, complete with a flower veil and crown atop her head. The emerald hue of Bianca’s dress perfectly matches the title’s elegant lettering.
Ize Press has not yet confirmed whether the English release will feature the censored or mature, uncensored version.
Based on the original webnovel by KEN, Marriage of Convenience was adapted into a manhwa by Antstudio (The Villainess Turns the Hourglass). The story centers on Bianca de Arno, a countess infamous for her lavish lifestyle and disregard for her duties. After her husband, the war hero Count Zachary de Arno, dies in battle, Bianca meets a lonely and tragic end—until she wakes up as her 19-year-old self. Given a second chance, Bianca vows to rewrite her fate, starting by rebuilding her relationship with her distant husband.
Since its digital release on Tapas in October 2022, the webcomic has amassed over 6.3 million views and nearly 695,000 likes across 95 chapters and several side stories.
A live-action adaptation is also in the works, with Jung Yena and Lee Chulwoo confirmed to play Bianca and Zachary. Additional casting details and a release date are still forthcoming.
The print edition of Marriage of Convenience spans 336 pages and hits shelves on September 23. It will retail for $20 USD / $26 CAD.
