Red Velvet’s Yeri is set to return in Season 2 of her hit K-drama Bitch X Rich, which premieres this July.
Also known as Bitch X Rich 2, the new season continues the story of third-generation chaebol Bae Je-na, played by Yeri. The character becomes entangled in a psychological battle with Kim Hye-in, a poor student who receives a scholarship to attend Cheongdam International High School after witnessing a murder. In exchange for her silence, she’s thrust into a world of secrets, lies, and dangerous rivalries. Yeri’s performance in the first season helped the show earn a solid 7.5 rating on MyDramaList and a 6.6 on IMDb.

In May, Yeri announced her departure from SM Entertainment, her agency of over a decade, to join Blitzway Entertainment. She plans to pursue an acting career under her real name, Kim Ye-rim, while continuing her activities as a member of Red Velvet.
Yeri first joined SM Entertainment in 2011 after passing a Weekly Audition. Although Red Velvet debuted in 2014, she officially joined the group in 2015, seven months after their debut. Before that, she was part of the SM Rookies pre-debut team and appeared in music videos like Henry’s “1-4-3” and SHINee’s “Why So Serious.”
Fans can expect more drama and intrigue when Bitch X Rich Season 2 drops this July, though an exact premiere date has yet to be announced.
