Seven Seas swoops in and, quite literally, saves the day by acquiring the licenses for two beloved danmei series fans thought were gone forever.
The publisher announced its official English licenses for Little Mushroom and Golden Terrace—two series that vanished from shelves after Peach Flower House shut down in November 2024. Both titles sold out in days, leaving fans with little hope of ever owning a copy unless they were willing to pay outrageous reseller prices.
But now, both longtime readers and new fans can dive into these stories again. (On a totally personal note, I almost fell off my chair when I saw the announcements. That’s how excited I was.)
Golden Terrace
Golden Terrace, written by Cang Wu Bin Bai, will return with an all-new translation and fresh illustrations. The story follows Fu Shen, the Marquis of Jingning and commander of the Beiyan Cavalry, who returns from battle injured—only to be forced into an arranged marriage. His new spouse? His political rival, Yan Xianhan, the Imperial Investigator of the Feilong Guard.
The first volume hits shelves in June 2026. Like the previous PFH edition, the series will run in two volumes. kou and Suika will handle the translation. Pricing starts at $19.99 USD and $26.99 CAD.
Little Mushroom
The award-winning sci-fi danmei novel Little Mushroom also returns, complete with new translations, new illustrations—and a special edition. Written by Yi Shi Si Zhou, the story is set in a future devastated by cosmic radiation that mutates living creatures. A sentient mushroom inherits the body of its deceased host An Ze, renames himself An Zhe, and sets out to recover his stolen spore. Unfortunately, that spore now lies in the heart of a human base, guarded by Judges tasked with eradicating non-humans. To make matters worse, An Zhe captures the interest of Colonel Lu Feng, the most ruthless Judge of them all.
The first volume, available in both regular and special editions, will release in May 2026. Yu and amixy will provide the translation. The standard edition is priced at $19.99 USD and $26.99 CAD, while the special edition will cost $29.99 USD and $39.99 CAD. Like its previous edition, Little Mushroom will also span two volumes.
